Lamar Advertising to Celebrate Grandparents' Day 2026 with a Nationwide Interactive Billboard Campaign

Families can pay tribute to their grandparents on a nearby Lamar digital billboard by visiting LamarGrandparentsDay.com

Baton Rouge, LA – September 1, 2026  – In celebration of this year’s Grandparents’ Day on September 13, Lamar Advertising, one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world, is offering families across the country the opportunity to express their love and appreciation for grandma and grandpa on a Lamar digital billboard.

Beginning today, anyone wishing to honor their grandparents on a Lamar billboard can visit www.LamarGrandparentsDay.com to submit and upload an image. Participants will receive an email with a map showing the locations of digital billboards where they will be able to view their tribute as well as a virtual mockup of their submission.

Lamar will display Grandparents’ Day photos on digital billboards across the U.S. from September 9th through the 16th, rotated among the usual advertisements. Lamar will also post selected submissions on the company’s social media channels.

Submissions will remain open until September 13th, with the total number of daily accepted submissions capped at 5,000. Photos with company or business names and logos, political messages or inappropriate content will not be accepted.
