Out of Home is Cost Effective

Out of Home (OOH) advertising’s major strengths are mass and affordable reach. In fact, outdoor advertising reaches more consumers for each dollar spent than radio, TV or print advertising. 

Solomon Partners works with the Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA) to study and analyze trends in the industry. In a recent study, they uncovered that CPMs (cost-per-thousand impressions) generated by OOH are lower than TV, radio or newspaper ads. Additionally, OOH CPMs are extremely competitive as compared to online advertising. 

According to Solomon, OOH delivers a CPM between $2.18 and $3.19. Comparatively, radio advertising costs around $6.75 per 1,000 impressions while TV and radio advertising costs are more than double. Here are the final figures:
